I use high end e-file bits to gently remove cuticles and prep the nail plate. Literal Diamond dust  to prep your nails. This is non damaging to your natural nails. It will not burn, leave indents, or cut you. I sincerely care about the health of your nails and have heard way to many horror stories from other salons that improperly use their e-file bits, rush through the job, and leave you with irreversible damage and is very painful. Healthy, long lasting manicures start with prep.  Along with prepping the surface of your nail, the diamond cuticle removing bits allow me to tuck the gel even closer to your skin, so your nails aren't looking grown out right when you leave the salon.

Proper removal is just as important as prep, and this is also where I see a lot of damage done. I use e-file bits to gently remove the top layer of your gel overlay, then we either fill with more gel, or my products can be soaked off with acetone. Gel should never be completely filed off, or ripped/ pried off either. Proper prep, removal and use of my diamond e-file bits will completely transform your nails for the better. 

Luminary Gel is a Multi-Flex, soak-off gel. This means that it is durable like hard gel and acrylic, but the multi-flex allows it to move with your natural nail, instead of a hard product sitting on top that will break off with half your nail with it. I have so many clients now tell me they almost gave up getting their nails done, nothing ever lasted. This product is so durable on even the roughest of clients. The fact that it can be soaked off is so beneficial to your overall nail health, as it doesn't need to be aggressively filed off, causing damage to your nail plate, leaving you with thin, breakable nails. I also use a UV/LED light to cure the gel, and low power mode setting to avoid that awful burning/ curing feeling. Luminary gel is extremely self levelling, which means it applies perfectly smooth, so I don't have to finish file afterwards, speeding up the time of the service significantly. Most of my clients use this product as a gel overlay, and every 3-5 weeks come back for a fill where I gently file down the top layer, leaving the base intact, and fill with more Luminary gel on top.
